The care with which Steve has assisted my clients is above and beyond the excellent workmanship itself..and so appreciated that he will always be my go-to for clients, friends and family. His workmanship is impeccable, his pricing is fair, well laid out in written detail and the care and compassion with which he handles himself in all client interactions is beyond a level I have seen in the decades I have worked with third party professionals. My clients love him and they appreciate all the extras with which he has helped them, together with his overall advice about home ownership and maintenance. The most heartwarming feedback has been that, on a human level, he truly cares and he really hears the clients…their plans, their dreams for their home, as well as their homeowner worries. We all have them. His desire to see that they are happy is always in the forefront, second to none in my view. It has been a pleasure to work with Steve and to have him work for my clients!

Great Job on my house. CHM came through when I needed some work done on my brick house. Steve was professional and easy to work with. He does excellent work, and I would highly recommend him for your next job.

My daughter (in her 60s and handicapped) moved from Toronto and I moved from Montreal (now 90 with limited mobility) to Hamilton for health reasons, i.e. good hospital reviews with easy access. We bought a bungalow with full en-suite basement.
We knew we would need some major renovations as both bathrooms had to be completed made over to accommodate walk-in showers. Major bathroom had full bath removed and beautiful, stylish walk-in was installed. Basement bathroom needed complete make over as original DIY job was too cramped, plus moldy with now rotted wooden floor, etc., etc., etc., Previous owner completely ignoring many present day building requirements and regulations. Pleased beyond measure with end results.
Other MAJOR construction, due to cracked foundation, came to light that had to be rectified.
Schedule was flexible (due to most unusual Hamilton winter (-21 degrees and heavy snow falls), but workable for both parties’ satisfaction. Throw in a 3 day “emergency” hospital visit for pneumonia with complications for me. House, and dog, were left in safe, dependable and trustworthy hands of Stephen.

I highly recommend Steve Sharp from Canadian Heritage Masonry, who acted as the general contractor for my mother (90-years young) and myself, during the renovation of our bungalow with a complete in-law suite. From the beginning, Steve was professional, organized, and genuinely committed to making sure the project was done right and that 2 ‘older’ ladies were happy with the end results.
He coordinated the work carefully, communicated clearly at every stage, and made sure both of our needs were considered throughout the renovation and upgrades (of which there were many). His experience really showed in the quality of the work and in how smoothly the overall project moved forward. He was dependable, respectful of our home, and always willing to answer questions and explain the process.
And our dog was in love with him, waiting for his arrival every morning!
We couldn’t have made it through the purchase (of what turned out to be a ‘lemon’) without him. We now consider him a friend.
It gave us real peace of mind knowing we had someone trustworthy overseeing such an important project for us both. We’re very happy with the results and would confidently recommend Steve Sharp to anyone looking for a skilled and reliable contractor.
